Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is hiring a Retail Supervisor to support the Retail Operations team. The role oversees daily store activities, supervises retail associates, and ensures excellent customer service for customers and donors.

The position reports to the Store Manager and participates in various retail categories on a rotational basis. Pay rate is $23.97 per hour, with benefits including health coverage, life/AD&D, long-term disability, FSA, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalency but not required.
• 2 years’ experience with retail with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• 2 years’ customer service/retail experience.
• 1 year supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign, guide, coach and train employees while performing the work of a Sales Associates as needed.
• Complete retail operational requirements by scheduling and assigning one or more employees.
• Set expectations, instruct, coach and identify training needs.
• Maintain orderly operations of the store in the absence of the Manager and Assistant.
• Resolve workplace problems by addressing issues that impact employee performance and productivity.
• Ensures excellent customer service is provided to customers and donors.
