Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Retail Supervisor for our Seattle - Ballard location to support day-to-day store operations. The role leads retail associates, coordinates shifts, and ensures top-notch customer service while maintaining store standards.

The successful candidate will have at least two years in retail with POS systems and some supervisory experience. This non-exempt position reports to the Store Manager and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalency but not required.
• 2 years’ experience with retail with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• 2 years’ customer service/retail experience.
• 1 year supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign, guide, coach and train employees while performing the work of a Sales Associates as needed.
• Complete retail operational requirements by scheduling and assigning one or more employees.
• Set expectations, instruct, coach and identify training needs.
• Maintain orderly operations of the store in the absence of the Manager and Assistant.
• Resolve workplace problems by addressing issues that impact employee performance and productivity.
• Ensures excellent customer service is provided to customers and donors.
• Prepare reports by collecting, documenting and summarizing information.
• Complete projects by planning, organizing and monitoring assignments.
