Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Retail Sales Associate in a non-exempt, full-time role in the Retail Operations department. You will interact with customers and donors, assist with merchandise selection, process transactions, and help keep the floor stocked and clean.

The position pays $21.30/hour with a family of benefits, and opportunities for career advancement and training within a mission-driven nonprofit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred, but not required.
• No experience required.
• Ability to learn new software related to the job.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in all areas of the store.
• Answer questions or direct donors and customers to a supervisor.
• Handle cash, checks, and card transactions and balance the POS.
• Able to communicate via standard telephone and wireless systems.
• Merchandise, restock and maintain the store floor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Support teammates and lead with customer satisfaction.
