Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington seeks a Retail Supervisor to support store operations in our region. You will supervise and lead retail associates, manage daily tasks, ensure customer service excellence, and rotate through categories to cover staffing.

The role requires 2 years of retail with POS, strong communication and organizational skills, and a readiness to train staff. Pay is $23.97–$27.20 per hour DOE with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalency but not required.
• 2 years’ experience with retail with POS systems.
• 2 years’ customer service/retail experience.
• 1 year supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign, guide, coach and train employees while performing the work of a Sales Associates as needed.
• Complete retail operational requirements by scheduling and assigning one or more employees.
• Set expectations, instruct, coach and identify training needs.
• Maintain orderly operations of the store in the absence of the Manager and Assistant.
• Resolve workplace problems by addressing issues that impact employee performance and productivity.
• Ensures excellent customer service is provided to customers and donors.
• Prepare reports by collecting, documenting and summarizing information.
• Complete projects by planning, organizing and monitoring assignments.
• Promote productivity by following up with employees on work results
• Provide excellent internal/external customer service.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Demonstrate safe work practices through awareness and observation in support of a safety culture; reports any potential hazards or accidents.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
