Job summary

Our Client is seeking a Store Leader to oversee daily operations at their retail store. The Store Leader must ensure exceptional customer experiences by upholding standards in shopping convenience, variety, freshness, cleanliness, food safety, and regulatory compliance.

This role involves managing and developing store associates, driving sales and profits, implementing merchandising and operational initiatives, and fostering a culture of respect, inclusion, and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of supervisory retail experience.
• Completion of the Leadership Essentials Program required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams in planning, implementing, and executing merchandising and operational initiatives.
• Ensure the store meets customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, cleanliness, and safety.
• Collaborate with leaders and associates to identify opportunities and implement action plans.
• Achieve weekly, period, and annual sales and profit budgets.
• Manage labor, shrink, and other expenses while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Build relationships with local community organizations and, if applicable, union officials.
• Communicate information to store associates to enable effective duties.
• Oversee staffing, retention, and performance reviews.
