Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking a General Manager in Zionsville, IN to lead a motivated team and deliver an extraordinary guest experience while balancing strategic, operational, and leadership priorities.

You will hire, develop, and coach staff; drive profitability using daily tools; maintain food safety and brand standards; and implement local marketing to grow the business and reinforce our health-focused mission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate or bachelor’s in business, hospitality management, or similar preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a manager or supervisor in a restaurant or retail customer service setting.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills – energized by working with people.
• Ability to work varied hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, and lead the store team to deliver an excellent guest experience and support the brand mission.
• Use store tools (P&L, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log, scheduling/inventory) to achieve operational excellence.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and manage inventory and shipments.
• Monitor KPIs to identify problems and opportunities and implement improvements.
• Manage cash handling and deposits with accuracy and integrity.
• Ensure food safety compliance for the store and staff at all times.
• Uphold brand standards and store appearance per company guidelines.
• Drive local store marketing plans and community outreach to support brand initiatives.
• Recognize and reward team accomplishments using existing programs and new ideas.
