Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of experience as an assistant store leader or in a similar role at the same pay level or above.
• Successful completion of the applicable division's Leadership Essentials Program.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams in planning, implementation and execution of merchandising and operation initiatives to keep the store customer ready every day.
• Work with store leaders and associates to identify opportunities, develop solutions and create action plans.
• Achieve/exceed weekly, period, and annual sales, revenue and profit budgets and other goals.
• Drive cost-effective sales by optimizing labor and expenses and improving department contributions.
• Discuss store financial performance and budgets with leadership teams to reach targets.
• Understand the competitive landscape and respond to market changes within the district.
• Promote inclusion and engage Our Promise teams and local community partners.
• Coordinate with field Merchandising teams to meet financial goals and execute division marketing plans.
• Develop strong relationships with union officials if applicable and communicate with associates.
