Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 1 year retail store management experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and policies.
• Strong communication and customer service leadership.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees per laws and policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide training; conduct performance evaluations; counsel or terminate if needed.
• Make recommendations on pay rates and advancement.
• Communicate expectations; coordinate meetings to enforce safety and policies.
• Open and close the store daily.
• Manage inventory planning, ordering and stock levels; monitor BSR and cycle counts.
• Ensure proper merchandising, pricing and signage.
• Maintain cash control and security procedures; ensure cashier accountability.
• Deliver superior customer service leadership.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment.
