Job summary

The Salvation Army is hiring for a full-time Assistant Store Manager at our Honolulu store. This role supports the Store Manager, helps run daily operations, and leads the team to deliver excellent customer service and donor relations.

The ideal candidate has retail management experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check. This position offers growth opportunities within The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Program.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years retail management/supervisory experience.
• Ability to operate POS/Cash Register.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Pass background check including Criminal History.
• Strong communication with management, staff, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in day-to-day store operations.
• Lead store staff and provide coaching and development.
• Maintain customer/donor relations and resolve issues.
• Coordinate daily meetings and shift changes when Store Manager is absent.
• Ensure compliance with ARC policies and safety regulations.
• Manage cash and inventory controls; protect assets.
