Job summary

Boot Barn in Sand City, California is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in driving customer service, coaching staff, and achieving sales goals. Ideal candidates have an Associate’s Degree and 2–4 years of retail management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage scheduling, operations, and visual standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays; travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed expectations.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and recognition; be present on the sales floor during peak hours.
• Develop training plans to improve store performance in operations and merchandising.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on scheduling, hiring, and policy communication.
• Ensure merchandising, stock levels, and store standards meet guidelines.
