Job summary

Lilly Pulitzer is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in McLean to drive budgeted net sales and deliver an exceptional client experience. You will lead the store in the Store Manager’s absence, uphold core values, and coach a dynamic team to achieve strong results.

You will partner with leadership to develop action plans, recruit and onboard staff, and manage day-to-day operations with a focus on customer engagement and brand standards.

Qualifications

• A four-year college degree is preferred, but not required.
• 3-5 years of experience, preferably in fashion or luxury retail.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in fashion or luxury retail.
• Proficient in achieving and exceeding sales goals.
• Ability to develop relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of ownership and responsibility.
• Prior knowledge of XStore and Tulip a plus.
• Ability to be on your feet and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by delivering an exceptional client experience and supporting sales teams.
• Partner with Store Manager to create action plans that achieve financial results and grow the business.
• Build strategies to increase sales, expand reach within the community, and curate strong teams.
• Lead store floor and sales team in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Provide in-the-moment coaching with clear, concise feedback.
• Assist with recruiting and onboarding new employees in collaboration with the Store Manager.
