Qualifications

• Previous retail management experience, preferably in the building materials industry.
• Experience managing outside sales programs and contractors.
• Proven track record in sales management and profitability growth.
• Ability to direct and train others as a team leader.
• 5–10 years of experience in building materials, store operations, and sales.
• This position will be for our Shelby, OH facility.

Responsibilities

• Manages and implements the overall direction of the store.
• Oversees inventory management, safety requirements and policies and procedures.
• Communicates sales and profit goals to the team.
• Sets direction and manages hiring, communication, motivation, discipline and separation.
• Ensures goals are outlined and met.
• Grows outside, inside and installed sales programs; builds relationships and resolves customer issues.
• Identifies growth needs, completes required orientation and safety training, and encourages employee development.
