Job Summary

The GetGo Assistant Store Leader is a key player in keeping the store team running smoothly, as our customers' clocks are ticking. This role involves coaching, supervising, and leading the team, often on behalf of the Store Leader. It is a developmental position designed to prepare the individual to run their own store, involving learning, performing, and mastering the responsibilities of both Team Members and Leaders. The Assistant Store Leader plays a vital role in growing sales, executing merchandising plans, delivering excellent customer service, controlling costs, and improving processes.

Job Description

• Experience Required: 1 to 3 years
• Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 21 years of age

Job Responsibilities

• Interview, select, and train Team Members
• Direct the work of Team Members
• Assess Team Members’ productivity and recommend promotions or changes
• Handle issues and complaints from Team Members
• Discipline Team Members
• Plan and assign work tasks
• Ensure safety and security of the store and staff
• Manage departmental budget and inventory
• Monitor and ensure compliance measures
• Maintain safety as the top priority for staff, customers, and products
• Coach the team to drive store success and uphold product quality, service, and cleanliness standards
• Support Store Leadership decisions through coaching and collaborative planning
• Execute merchandising plans to maximize sales and minimize shrinkage
• Identify business trends and manage inventory to increase sales and reduce waste
• Collaborate on staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Participate in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new staff
• Promote professional development and succession planning
• Provide ongoing support and coaching related to safety, sales, and performance
• Ensure store conditions meet all standards and regulations, communicating deficiencies immediately
