Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to follow company policies, safety rules and procedures.
• Accurate cash handling and reporting is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; operate cash register and scanner.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees and providing training.
• Manage merchandise flow including receiving, stocking, and display building.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by controlling damages and markdowns.
• Implement and maintain planograms and ensure proper product presentation.
• Ensure financial integrity with cashier accountability and deposits.
• Assist in store management in the Store Manager's absence.
