Job summary

The Children's Place in Thornton, Colorado is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team with cash-wrap operations, opening/closing procedures, and Leader on Duty responsibilities. You will model brand standards, engage customers, and drive a positive store environment.

Responsibilities include coaching associates, managing schedules and payroll, maintaining stockroom organization, and upholding high service standards while contributing to profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years retail experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through coaching conversations.
• Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns with associates.
• Support and participate in all company training and development initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide timely, objective feedback.
• Assess performance and provide feedback during annual reviews.
• Motivate and inspire associates to build brand loyalty and deliver exceptional service.
• Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service on the sales floor.
• Support management to maximize productivity through knowledge and payroll involvement.
• Participate in Leader on Duty (LOD) program to enhance customer experience and store profitability.
• Process payroll weekly and adjust schedules as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized stockroom and uphold store policies and CRE/Safety standards.
