Job summary

The Children’s Place in Lubbock, Texas is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team by executing cash-wrap operations, opening and closing procedures, and serving as Leader on Duty (LOD).

You will represent the brand on the sales floor, coach associates, maintain store standards, and collaborate with management to drive customer satisfaction and store profitability while supporting staff development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years retail experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through coaching and training of associates.
• Partner with Store Manager on performance concerns.
• Support and participate in company training initiatives.
• Maintain a positive work environment and provide timely feedback.
• Monitor daily performance and contribute to performance reviews.
• Motivate associates to build brand loyalty and strong store culture.
• Model exceptional customer service and store presentation standards.
• Support profitability through operational efficiency and payroll management.
• Process payroll weekly and adjust schedules as needed.
• Keep stockroom organized and ensure safety and CRE standards.
