Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a proactive Cashier/Stocker to lead when managers are away. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, implement plan-o-grams, and provide exceptional customer service. You’ll help maintain a clean, safe store and support cashier operations to ensure fast, accurate checkout experiences.

In this role you’ll assist with displays, restock, and collaborate with store leadership to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction, while protecting company assets.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposits.
• Ability to operate cash register functions.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Maintain clean store and assist with displays.
• Open/close store under supervision as needed.
• Authorize refunds and overrides in absence of managers.
