Huck’s Market Senior Associate in Fairfield, IL seeks an experienced team member to oversee shift operations, ensure profitability, and support the Store Manager. You will greet customers, manage cash handling, and supervise associates during your shift.

Responsibilities

• Gives all customers prompt and courteous service, including greeting customers at the gasoline intercom
• Observes shift operating hours and assists in filling shifts as needed
• Work the store manager's days off and at least two evening shifts per week during peak hours
• Performs tasks assigned by the Store Manager and communicates with the team
• Follows federal, state, and local laws and serves as a role model for associates
• Ensures rough discrepancies in sales, cash, or operation are reported to the Store Manager
• Keeps associates properly uniformed and delivering prompt, courteous service
• Completes shift change reports and records hours worked, clocks in/out, and handles daily deposits
• Treats all associates with dignity, advises on personnel issues impacting store performance
• Maintains a safe shopping and working environment and ensures secure handling of cash and merchandise
• Keeps store areas stocked and displays fronted; maintains equipment and prices per policy
• Maintains store appearance, cleanliness, and sanitation; reports maintenance needs to the Store Manager
• Promotes Huck’s Bucks Loyalty app and assists customers with sign-up and discounts
