Job summary

Huck’s Market is seeking a Senior Associate to manage shift operations, ensure prompt, courteous service, and uphold Best In Class standards. You will cover shifts, support the Store Manager, and assist with openings as training progresses.

The role emphasizes teamwork, compliance with laws, accurate cash handling, and customer experience, with a clear path toward store management as training completes and openings arise.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously and adhere to Best In Class standards
• Observe shift hours and help fill shifts as assigned
• Work the store manager's days off and cover at least two evening shifts per week
• Perform tasks assigned by the Store Manager
• Communicate effectively with staff and management
• Follow all laws and company policies for store operation
• Be a role model of conduct for associates
• Ensure awareness of sales, cash, or operating discrepancies
• Ensure proper uniforming and prompt customer service
• Maintain stocked and fronted displays including coolers and shelves
• Accurately record hours and process transactions, over rings, and refunds
• Assist with store deposits as directed by management
• Treat all associates with dignity and respect and escalate policy issues when needed
• Promote the Huck’s Bucks Loyalty app to customers and explain benefits to sign-up and usage
• Ensure a safe shopping and working environment and proper loss prevention procedures
• Keep store appearance up to company standards and maintain clean facilities
• Report maintenance issues promptly to the Store Manager
