Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker who can act in a lead capacity when Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager are absent. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service, maintaining plan-o-grams, and ensuring efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and follow store receiving processes.
• Stock merchandise, rotate and face shelves, build displays.
• Restock returned and recovered merchandise.
• Maintain plan-o-grams and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and provide exemplary service.
• Operate and balance the cash register, collect payment and make change.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety, including floors, restrooms and stockroom.
• Open/close procedures and cash accountability in absence of managers.
