Job summary

Walgreens in Utah is seeking a store associate to open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash and register duties, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business.

You will deliver a distinctive customer experience, assist with inventory, pricing, and basic store maintenance, and support pharmacy operations as requested; prior leadership or key holder experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management and handles required system start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, refunds, cash drops, and provides change to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers, resolves issues, and assists with pricing and stock management.
• Maintains store appearance, inventory accuracy, and compliance with policies.
