Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker in a lead capacity to serve customers, stock shelves, and assist in pricing layouts when the store manager is absent. You will ensure accurate cash handling, maintain displays, and support store profitability while protecting assets.

Responsibilities include unloading shipments, stocking merchandise, greeting customers, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and exemplary customer service.

Competenze

Ability to perform mathematical calculations and percentages.
Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposits.
Ability to use the IBM cash register functions.
Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies.

Mansioni

Unload trucks and process incoming shipments per store procedures.
Stock, rotate, and face merchandise and build displays.
Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
Greet customers and help locate merchandise.
Operate cash register, bag purchases, and provide accurate change.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the store and stockroom.
Open/close store under supervisor direction and handle refunds/overrides as needed.
