Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to assist in leading store operations in the absence of management. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking and rotating merchandise, assisting with plan-o-grams, and delivering exceptional customer service.

You will operate the register, handle cash, bag purchases, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment. This is a full-time position at a Dollar General location.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations including percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit control.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and receive merchandise per store process.
• Stock and face merchandise on shelves; build displays.
• Operate cash register and bag customer purchases.
• Greet customers and provide superior service.
• Open/close the store under direction of the Area Manager.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment.
