Job summary

BevMo! by Gopuff is seeking a Key Holder to join the Retail Operations team. This role involves opening and closing the store, assisting during peak times, and supporting new employees while delivering excellent customer service to drive sales.

The position requires at least 1 year of leadership experience in retail or a similar setting, strong cash handling skills, and the ability to lift up to 49 pounds. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work with fluid schedules; be available during peak hours of operation and availability to support stores on nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling
• Team-oriented mentality
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and establishing rapport with customers.
• Open and close the store; arrive early and stay late as needed.
• Assist the store during periods of high volume and support new employees.
• Know in-house products to make customer recommendations.
• Assist with inventory tasks: restocking, counts, discrepancies.
• Process cash transactions: open/close tills, count cash, deposits.
• Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics.
• Follow age verification policies; provide receipts and handle refunds/exchanges.
• Monitor sales floor to prevent theft and minimize loss; conduct bag checks.
• Keep store clean and maintain standards in all areas; train new employees.
