Job description

BevMo! by Gopuff is seeking a Key Holder for our Retail Operations team. This position is responsible for opening and closing the store and performing other duties in the absence of management. A Key Holder will assist the store during high volume periods and support new employees, providing excellent customer service while driving sales.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and informing them about products and services.
• Open the store early and close it late.
• Assist the store during high volume periods and support new employees.
• Know in-house products to recommend to customers.
• Help with inventory tasks like restocking, conducting counts, and identifying discrepancies.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including opening/closing tills, cash counting, and deposits.
• Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics.
• Follow age verification policies.
• Ensure prices and quantities are correct and provide receipts.
• Process refunds and exchanges.
• Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and ensure security procedures are followed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and standards in all areas.
• Train new employees on store procedures, products, and customer service standards.

Qualifications:

• Over 1 year of leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant, or similar fields.
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math skills and cash handling proficiency.
• Team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pay:

• Compensation varies based on location and market conditions. For U.S. locations, the starting salary at Pinole, CA, is USD $17.25 per hour.
• Pay may be adjusted based on skills, experience, and other factors.
