Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager. You will help set and maintain plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and deliver exceptional customer service while protecting assets and reducing losses.

You will unload trucks, stock shelves, assist customers, operate the cash register, and help keep the store clean and organized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months supervisory experience or related training preferred.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and cash handling procedures.
• Familiarity with IBM cash register functions and standard register operations.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise; rotate and face items and build displays.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Operate checkout and process payments; provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain plan-o-grams and assist in implementing store layouts.
• Open/close store under direction of Area Manager and ensure cash accountability.
