Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate in Sylvester, GA to maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and support management in daily store operations to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction while safeguarding assets.

Responsibilities include supervising duties in absence of Store Manager, adhering to planograms, and ensuring safety and efficient checkout processes.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as percentages.
• Ability to perform cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and deposit control.
• Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves, build merchandise displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, mop floors, clean restrooms and stockroom, set up sidewalk displays.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in their absence.
