Job summary

Dollar General in Brunswick, GA is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, customer-first store environment. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock merchandise, and lead by example in the absence of Store Manager.

The role requires strong communication, planogram knowledge, safety awareness, and the ability to lift and move merchandise. You will open/close the store and support store profitability while protecting assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of planograms and merchandising presentation.
• Ability to perform basic calculations and handle cash accurately.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves, and build displays.
• Clean the store; take out trash; mop floors; clean restroom and stockroom; set up sidewalk displays.
• Open and close the store under direction of Store Manager.
• Perform duties of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in their absence.
