Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker lead to perform cashiering, stocking, and display duties in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help maintain plan-o-grams, assist customers, and lead in the absence of store management while ensuring operational efficiency and loss prevention.

The role requires basic math, cash handling, and familiarity with IBM cash registers, along with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Experience using IBM cash registers and related checkout systems.

Responsibilities

• Unloads trucks and stocks merchandise according to store procedures.
• Operates cash register, completes transactions, bags items and provides receipts.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of sales floor, restrooms, and stockroom.
