Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to lead in the absence of the Store Manager. You will help set and maintain plan-o-grams, provide exemplary customer service, and perform duties to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork while protecting assets.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking and rotating merchandise, assisting customers, operating the cash register, processing payments, and keeping the store clean and safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and handle cash transactions.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and plan-o-gram guidance.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise efficiently.
• Stock, rotate, and face merchandise; build displays.
• Operate cash register; process payments and bag items.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and provide service leadership.
• Open/close store under direction of Area Manager.
