Job summary

Dollar General is looking for a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, customer-first store, assist shoppers, operate the register, stock and recover merchandise, and support store profitability. In this lead role you will supervise during the Store Manager's absence, help open and close, implement planograms, and uphold safety and cash-control policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; at least 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to follow planograms and manage merchandise presentation.
• Strong math skills and cash handling proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership and assist customers.
• Operate cash register, scan items, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Stock, restock and rotate merchandise and build displays.
• Clean the store and maintain appearance; follow planograms.
• Open and close the store under the Store Manager's direction.
• Perform duties in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
