Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a Lead Associate to provide store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager/Assistant to the Manager. This role emphasizes friendly customer service, teamwork, integrity, and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment.

You will close the store, reconcile cash, prepare daily sales records, handle cash deposits, and assist with opening/closing procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Lead or supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work most store hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Close store, reconcile cash with daily sales reports and secure facility for night.
• Prepare and maintain records of store operations including daily sales reports, cash deposits and opening/closing reports and conduct inspections.
• Cash register and customer service duties.
• Receiving, pricing and stocking donations. (Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.)
• Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing in a production style setting.
