Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to lead in the absence of store management and to assist in plan-o-gram implementation while providing exemplary customer service. The role includes unloading trucks, stocking, merchandising, and operating the register with accuracy and care.

You will help maintain a clean, safe store environment and support daily store operations with a focus on profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Experience with IBM cash register functions and pricing tools.
• Familiarity with cash control and safety policies.
• Strong interpersonal and written communications.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and follow store receiving processes.
• Stock, rotate, and face merchandise; build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise and manage zones as directed.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and merchandising.
• Greet customers and provide superior service; operate register and bag merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; close/open store per direction.
• Authorize refunds/overrides in absence of store manager; ensure cashier accountability.
