Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to work as a lead in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. You will assist in plan-o-gram setup, stock rotation, customer service, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean, organized store. The role emphasizes teamwork, profitability, and a secure store environment while following company SOPs and policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and cash handling procedures.
• Familiarity with plan-o-grams and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; customer-focused.
• Ability to operate a cash register and scanning devices.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise according to store processes.
• Maintain plan-o-grams and rotate stock on shelves.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Operate cash register, process payments, and bag items.
• Keep store clean and organized; open/close procedures as directed.
