Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker who can also step into a lead role when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is unavailable. The role includes unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, assisting customers, and maintaining shop floor presentation with plan-o-grams.

Responsibilities include operating the register, processing payments, and helping maintain a clean, organized store while ensuring security and loss prevention. Prior supervisory exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong math skills including percentages.
• Effective interpersonal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise, rotate displays and face shelves.
• Greet customers and assist in locating items; maintain clean store areas.
• Operate cash register and scanner; handle payments and bag items.
• Maintain plan-o-grams and ensure plan-o-gram compliance and merchandising standards.
• Ensure cashier accountability and secure handling of cash and deposits.
