Job summary

French-Truck-Coffee in Memphis is seeking a Store Lead to support store teams with front and back of house operations, assisting the Cafe or Shop Manager with administrative tasks and fostering a positive team member experience.

You will input daily recaps, flag issues in team dynamics, help with scheduling, training new hires, maintaining cleanliness and food safety, and ensure guest concerns are addressed according to service steps.

Qualifications

• General operations leadership experience in the food service or hospitality industry preferred.

• Clearly communicate business needs to other employees and filter down communication from the store manager.
• Ensure your store is stocked, cleaned and prepped, and supplying managers with daily store needs.
• Help with daily, weekly and monthly deep cleaning tasks for your location.
• Ensure customer orders are processed and completed properly and in a timely manner.
• Demonstrates high level of competency in all front and back of house positions.
• Help to lead your assigned shift with regard to labor allocation, store needs, and required breaks for the staff.
• Properly handle any guest issues or complaints as outlined in the steps of service.
• Helps to maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper food handling and food safety guidelines are being followed.
• Assist with training new hires in all positions following the checklist and systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Store Lead functions as support to our store teams for the front and back of house operations and to help operations flow smoothly. They are tasked with helping their Cafe or Shop Manager with completing administrative tasks and helping to drive a positive team member experience. The Store Lead is responsible for inputting daily recaps into their store log and for keeping store management abreast of any issues involving team dynamics and employee relations issues for the manager to resolve.
