Job summary

French Truck Coffee is seeking a Store Lead in Memphis to support both front and back of house operations and help drive a smooth store flow. You will assist the Cafe/Shop Manager with administrative tasks and foster a positive team member experience, including inputting daily recaps and flagging team dynamics issues for resolution.

You will help ensure stock, cleanliness, and readiness for daily needs, lead shifts on labor and breaks, and assist training new hires while maintaining food safety

Qualifications

• General operations leadership experience in food service, food product manufacturing and/or hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate business needs to other employees and filter down communication from the store manager
• Ensure your store is stocked, cleaned and prepped, and supplying managers with daily store needs
• Help with daily, weekly and monthly deep cleaning tasks for your location
• Ensure customer orders are processed and completed properly and in a timely manner
• Demonstrates high level of competency in all front and back of house positions
• Help to lead your assigned shift with regard to labor allocation, store needs, and required breaks for the staff
• Properly handle any guest issues or complaints as outlined in the steps of service
• Helps to maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper food handling and food safety guidelines are being followed
• Assist with training new hires in all positions following the checklist and systems
• Other duties as assigned
