Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. is seeking a Lead in Champaign, IL to act as the in-store expert for their department. You will support the store leadership, coach teammates, and ensure brand standards are met while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will help plan daily workflows, participate in interviews, and coach teammates to build a strong, people-first culture that drives a positive shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Prior retail sales experience or customer‑facing experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15–35 lbs. repetitively.
• Starting hourly pay range: $18.00–$26.00; actual rate varies by location and experience.

• Lead the team in delivering excellent customer service and brand standards.
• Provide direction to teammates and assist with interviews and onboarding.
• Support scheduling, training and daily store events under guidance of Store Management.
