Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking an on-site Human Resources Specialist in Charlotte, NC to lead staffing, training, onboarding, and administrative HR duties for the store’s Outfitters. You will partner with the General Manager on administrative tasks and drive a positive work environment.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of HR experience, a HS diploma (Bachelor's in HR preferred), and strong communication and data-analytic skills. This role offers full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's in HR is preferred.
• 1–3 years of HR and administrative/office experience recommended.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supports staffing for hourly Outfitters and assists with onboarding.
• Coordinates training completion and monitors performance processes.
• Maintains confidential HR records and handles HRIS/payroll activities.
• Assists with performance reviews, recognition programs, and employee relations support.
• Manages invoices, expenses, store supplies, and travel arrangements for Outfitters.
