Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Richmond, VA is seeking an Human Resources Specialist to lead onsite HR initiatives for store leadership and Outfitters, covering staffing, training, engagement, orientation and onboarding, and administrative excellence.

In this role you will also assist the General Manager with administrative duties, ensure confidentiality, and collaborate across departments to maintain compliant HR practices and smooth operations at the store level.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's in HR preferred.
• 1-3 years in human resources and administrative/office experience.
• Strong communication, data interpretation and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite HR initiatives for staffing, training, engagement, orientation and onboarding, and administrative excellence.
• Assist General Manager with administrative functions as needed.
• Help facilitate hiring/staffing for hourly outfitters and ensure training completion.
• Maintain confidentiality and perform HR-related policy communications.
• Process and audit employment actions in HRIS/Payroll/Scheduling for hourly outfitters.
• Coordinate travel for store Outfitters and leaders.
