Meijer is seeking a Human Resources Representative for our Commerce, MI store location. You will recruit top talent, foster a positive work culture and support staff for success.

The role partners with store leadership and the regional HR team to champion HR goals, addressing employee relations, training, and total rewards programs. Onsite position with focus on staffing, onboarding, and development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in HR preferred.
• 2+ years as HR Generalist, Sr. HR Generalist, HR Manager, or equivalent.
• Experience with employee relations and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Assist staffing, interviews and selection for store roles.
• Oversee orientation, onboarding and training to drive engagement.
• Support talent management, development goals and performance initiatives.
• Provide guidance to leadership on career development resources and coaching.
• Consult on employee relations matters, investigations, and policy compliance.
• Prepare and run HR reports and track development progress.
