Job summary

RWB Thrift in Clinton Charter Township, MI, is seeking a General Manager to drive store profitability, customer experience, and staff development. You will own the P&L, set strategic initiatives, and lead a management team to exceed targets while maintaining operational excellence.

You will train Production and Retail Managers, optimize backroom efficiency, and ensure a high standard of merchandising and service in a fast-paced thrift environment.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal and external customers.
• High level of computer proficiency (MS Office, Teams, Outlook, and HRIS).
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous thrift, retail, warehouse, or customer facing experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the store's P&L and drive top-line sales and profitability.
• Ensure operational excellence by meeting production quotas and maintaining customer service standards.
• Lead and develop the Production Manager and Retail Manager and foster a culture of high performance.
• Create dynamic scheduling and manage labor costs while ensuring coverage during peak times.
