Wawa, Inc. is seeking a General Manager to lead daily store operations, drive profitability, and deliver an unforgettable customer experience. You will own performance targets, develop a high-performing team, and ensure compliance with safety, audits, and policies.

The GM will manage budgeting and inventory plans, respond to feedback, and champion company initiatives while fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• Leadership experience in fast-paced retail, food service, or fuel environments.
• Ability to coach, develop, and inspire career growth.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Solid understanding of store financials and their impact on performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring safety, service, and efficiency while maintaining audits and policies.
• Own accountability to meet performance targets by reviewing financial reports and merchandise plans.
• Analyze trends, control costs, reduce waste, and manage cash procedures for profitability.
• Collaborate with peers to develop action plans driving optimal results.
• Ensure safety, service, and operational excellence through policy execution and continuous improvement.
• Champion company initiatives and ensure adoption of programs and processes.
• Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team through coaching and onboarding.
• Maintain proper coverage in a 24/7 environment with strategic scheduling.
• Respond to customer feedback and create plans to exceed expectations.
