Job summary

Check Into Cash in Sulphur, LA is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations, drive store performance, ensure compliance, and deliver world-class customer service to customers.

You’ll coach your team, implement local marketing strategies, manage loan/pawn processes, and develop staff for growth across the brand family, with hands-on training and clear advancement opportunities. The role features a 40-hour week, weekend shifts, and a competitive hourly rate with bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years’ supervisory or leadership experience in retail, finance, service, or related industries.
• Operations experience in a leadership capacity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with phones, POS, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required.
• Ability to meet physical demands (standing, lifting, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Manage overall store performance against company standards.
• Coach and develop team to grow the business and revenue.
• Identify local marketing strategies and partnerships.
• Examine loan/pawn applications and assess risk within limits.
• Enforce compliance with quality standards and laws.
• Supervise cash handling, loss prevention, and audits.
• Train staff in keyholder duties and shift schedules.
• Maintain store appearance and handle facility needs.
• Ensure 40-hour full-time schedule with in-person attendance.
