Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a Freight Flow Lead who serves as the in-store expert for their department, delivering excellent service to customers and guiding teammates as the immediate point of contact. The Lead helps plan workflows, coach staff, and uphold brand standards under store leadership.

You will lead by example, foster an inclusive environment, and support training while ensuring safety and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior retail sales or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15–50 lbs several times per hour.

Responsibilities

• Supports building and hiring a strong team by observing in-store interviews and department tours.
• Builds a people-first culture by connecting with teammates to build trust, respect, and a strong store culture.
• Plans 30 days out with guidance from the Assistant Store Manager; align workforce for daily tasks and events.
• Strategically leverages teammates to meet brand standards, programs and processes, and task priority.
• Assists with training teammates on procedures and programs; onboarding new teammates and cross-training.
