Job summary

ALDI USA in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a store associate to handle merchandising, stocking, cashiering and cleaning to maintain a well-presented store. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service.

Starting wage is $19.50 per hour with planned increases: Year 2 $20.00, Year 3 $20.50, Year 4 $20.50, Year 5 $21.50. This is a full-time role averaging 30+ hours per week with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks, etc.
• Ability to follow ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with inquiries and escalate when needed.
• Inform management of loss due to damaged or outdated products.
• Use POS system to process purchases accurately and report scanning concerns.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures.
• Restock shelves and maintain merchandising planograms.
