Famous Footwear in Grants Pass, OR seeks a Sales Lead passionate about delivering the best shoe store experience. You’ll create a welcoming environment and foster an in-store culture where customers leave with the perfect fit and a sense of the Famous Feeling.

You’ll coach selling behaviors, drive store goals, and own daily operations—from pricing to inventory—while ensuring you and the team deliver top-notch customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Proficient knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Some store management experience or relevant management experience is preferred.
• Experience mentoring and training Associates on selling and operations.
• Flexibility to work holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspire teammates to deliver the Famous Feeling and coach selling behaviors.
• Drive store goals and contribute to overall performance.
• Essentials of store operations: pricing, inventory, opening/closing tasks.
• Ensure compliance with policies and leverage partner resources.
• Promote culture and deliver top-notch customer experiences.
• Support diversity, inclusivity and positive team dynamics.
• Assist customers in finding perfect fits and provide shoe recommendations.
