Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a dedicated Store Associate to support merchandising, stocking, cashiering and store cleanliness. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver a superb customer experience and maintain store standards.

Starting wage is $18.50 per hour with scheduled increases over five years. The role is full-time with 30+ hours per week. Benefits include a comprehensive package for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks, handheld devices, etc.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Uses POS system to scan and process purchases accurately and reports scanning issues.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Opens additional check lanes to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms.
