Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to interpret ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to operate all store equipment (cash registers, floor scrubber, baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices).
• Ability to meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Uses POS system to scan and process customer purchases accurately.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Opens additional check lanes to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly per merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and ensures timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assists store management in achieving operational efficiency and loss-reduction goals.
• Follows company policies and maintains a safe working environment.
