Job summary

Macy's is hiring a Selling and Support Captain to be a customer advocate and role model for colleagues. This elevated hourly role focuses on customer satisfaction, merchandising, and brand loyalty through promotional and Omni selling initiatives.

Under supervision of a People Leader, you will drive assignments, communicate priorities, and help deliver outstanding service on the selling floor. Full-time colleagues are scheduled 30+ hours weekly with related duties.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of direct retail experience preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively and lead by example.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customer orders, merchandising, and processing new products on the selling floor.
• Supervise tasks and lead colleagues to execute duties.
• Provide fast feedback to improve customer experience and store processes.
• Promote Macy's mobile app to enhance the in-store experience.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and register operations.
• Maintain best-in-class merchandise standards and POS knowledge.
